Once every year, around the Third Quarter, all current freshmen, sophomores, and Juniors from Cal High discuss with their counselors about their schedules for the next School year. Lots of Students get a variety of different classes based on whether they are in an Academy or if they
passed all of their classes, and many other reasons. Students across Cal High can have as many as seven classes! Or as few as five classes. In your freshman year, you need a math class, a Science class, an English class, as well as two electives and a Pe class.
Your Sophomore year, you need an English class, a Math class, a Science class, a History class, an elective, and a Pe class. In your junior year, you need to take an English class, a Science class, a History class, and a Math class. In your junior year, you do not need PE credits anymore. In your senior year, you will need an English class and A History class; you do not need A Math class, a Science class, or a Pe class anymore. Lots of Seniors have lots of electives because you need at least five classes in your schedule
Throughout all four years at California High School, you need at least 220 credits to graduate. You need 40 credits of English, 30 credits of Math, 20 credits of Pe, 30 credits of Science, and 10 credits in Arts or a foreign language. Overall, California High School is filled with many different Students with many different schedules. Such as Students doing lots of extracurricular activities that also may interfere with there Class schedules aswell.Hope everybody continues having a great School year, and I wish nothing but the best for the next School year. And if you are a Graduating Senior this year which you nothing but the best for your next chapter in your life! Continue having a great School Year, everyone!
