I can dance with the same rhythm,
I can twirl in a way, the same way you sway,
Ain’t I just like you?
I can sing the same song,
I’ll sing the same notes, high and all,
Ain’t I just like you?
I can laugh at the same jokes,
And I’ll do it in the same way, tears so you may say,
Ain’t I just like you?
I breathe in the same air,
Even when we’re both not aware,
Ain’t I just like you?
I bleed in the same way,
The same red that’s on display
Ain’t I just like you?
So maybe when we are both at death
Perhaps then you’ll see
That when the rot hits my flesh and only bones are left
That I am just like you,
I am human too.

I really like the message you are sending and the way you deliver it through the poetry.
